The Philippine Statistics Authority, Provincial Statistical Office-Davao del Norte (PSA PSO Davao del Norte) conducted its Customer Satisfaction Survey (CSS) for the First Quarter of 2023.
The Philippine Statistics Authority – Davao del Norte Provincial Statistical Office (DavNor PSO) conducted quarterly the Customer Satisfaction Survey (CSS) at its managed CRS Outlet-Tagum City. The CSS is the third in the series, since the opening of the Outlet on 15 March 2022.
Republic Act 11055 also known as the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) Act aims to establish a single national identification system for all Filipino Citizens. For this reason, all Filipino Citizens despite gender, civil status and even those under the custody of an institution shall have the right to identity through the PhilSys.
The 2023 National Women’s Month Celebration marks a juncture in the advancements of women’s rights and served as a venue to highlight women’s achievements, empowerment and gender equality.
As the highest policy-making body on statistical matters in the province, the Provincial Statistics Committee (PSC) in Davao del Norte along with its members assembled for its 1st Regular PSC Meeting for CY 2023 on 03 March 2023 at the Training Room of the Philippine Statistics Authority Davao del Norte Provincial Statistical Office. The meeting started at 1:00 o’clock in the afternoon and was presided by the PSC Chairperson, P.G. Department Head of PPDO Davao del Norte, Mr. Nelson F. Plata, MPA, EnP, and also was attended by representatives from eleven (11) member offices.
In line with the commitment of the office, PSA DavNor PSO conducted mobile registration on Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) both Step 2 Registration and issuance of the printable version of PhilID to the school-goers of Cabadiangan Integrated School, Barangay Santo Niño, Municipality of Talaingod.
This Annual Report contained the undertakings carried out by DavNor PSO guided by the organization’s vision of becoming solid, responsive and world-class authority.
Livestock Inventory in Davao del Norte as of January 1, 2022 is reported at 201,305 heads. This denotes a 4.2 percent decline in inventory from the total heads of 210,033 in the year 2021 (Table 1). The inventory of four livestock in Table 1 showed that Goats and Carabao increased in January 2022 by 0.3 percent and 0.2 percent, respectively, compared from the number of heads on January 1, 2021. On the other hand, decline in inventories were shown in Swine by 6.3 percent, and Cattle by 6.2 percent.
The headline inflation in Davao del Norte increased by 1.3 percentage points in January 2023 (6.9%) compared to its inflation rate in the same month last year, which was recorded at 5.6 percent. The current inflation rate (6.9%) of the province is lower compared to the headline inflation of the Philippines and Davao Region, which stood at 8.7 percent and 9.4 percent, respectively.
