Through this mandate, Birth Registration Assistance Project (BRAP) was created to give assistance on the late registration of an individual. The “Friends Rescued” (FRs) are included as beneficiaries of BRAP. They were the former rebels (FR) or NPA fighters that laid down their arms and return to the fold of the law.

The headline inflation of Davao del Norte decreased by 3.7 percentage points in
December 2023 (2.9%) compared to its inflation rate in the same month last year,
which was recorded at 6.6 percent. The current inflation rate (2.9%) of the province
is lower compared to the headline inflation of the Philippines and Davao Region,
which stood at 3.9 percent and 5.3 percent.
The headline inflation of Davao del Norte decreased by 3.8 percentage points in
November 2023 (3.2%) compared to its inflation rate in the same month last year,
which was recorded at 7.0 percent. The current inflation rate (3.2%) of the province
is lower compared to the headline inflation of the Philippines and Davao Region,
which stood at 4.1 percent and 4.9 percent, respectively.
The economy of Davao del Norte grew by 6.7 percent in 2022, surpassing the
5.1 percent growth in the previous year. The Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of the
province was estimated at PhP 168.61 billion in 2022
