The Philippine Statistics Authority, Provincial Statistical Office–Davao del Norte (PSA
PSO-DavNor) conducted quarterly the Customer Satisfaction Survey (CSS) at its
managed CRS Outlet-Tagum City. The CSS is fifth in its series, since the opening of
the Outlet on 15 March 2022, and first since the implementation of the Civil Registry
System – Information Technology Project (Phase II), or also known as CRS-ITP2.

The headline inflation of Davao del Norte decelerated by 5.3 percentage points in
August 2023 (1.6%) from its inflation rate in the same month of last year (6.9%).
Comparatively, the current inflation rate of the province (1.6%) is lower to the
headline inflation of the Philippines (5.3%) and Davao Region (3.9%), by 3.7
percent and 2.3 percent, respectively.

The headline inflation of Davao del Norte decreased by 5.8 percentage points in
July 2023 (1.3%) compared to its inflation rate in the same month last year, which
was recorded at 7.1 percent. The current inflation rate (1.3%) of the province is
lower compared to the headline inflation of the Philippines and Davao Region,
which stood at 4.7 percent and 4.3 percent, respectively
The headline inflation of Davao del Norte decreased by 3.2 percentage points in June 2023 (2.5%) compared to its inflation rate in the same month last year, which was recorded at 5.7 percent. The current inflation rate (2.5%) of the province is lower compared to the headline inflation of the Philippines and Davao Region, which stood at 5.4 percent and 5.7 percent, respectively.

This was conducted continuously from 05 to 09 June 2023 with 100 percent response rate from one hundred six (106) randomly selected clients of CRS Tagum City Outlet. The CSS is the fourth in the series, since the opening of the Outlet on 15 March 2022.
