The 2024 Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) was officially convened with the CBMS Coordinating Board of the Municipality of San Isidro at Municipal Hall, San Isidro, Davao del Norte last 28th of February 2024.

Statistical Specialist ll Charielle Mae C. Catigara highlighted the background and legal bases of CBMS and CCB, one of the topics are that the CBMS is a nationwide undertaking that requires cooperation of all government and private entities to ensure smooth flow of the CBMS operations at all geographic and administrative levels. It was discussed also that the PSA shall be primary responsible for all national censuses and surveys, sectoral statistics, consolidation of the administrative recording system, and compilation of national accounts.

It was also discussed the Scope and Coverage of the 2024 Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS), which is a comprehensive enumeration of all households, geotagging of all service facilities, and government projects in the locality. The implementation shall also cover capacity strengthening activities for local government units for their proper management and utilization of the CBMS data.
