“Convenience at your fingertips”

In a bid to make PhilSys registration more accessible to the public, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Provincial Statistical Office Davao del Norte (PSO-DavNor) participated in the series of Mall-Based Registration by the Local Government Unit of Tagum through the Office of the City Civil Registrar.

This activity was made possible during the celebration of the 34th Civil Registration Month, as one of the highlights for the City of Tagum. PSO-DavNor sent its PhilSys Registration Team (PRT) to conduct Step 2 Registration and issuance of the printable ePhilID.

This move aims to bring the registration process closer to the people, offering convenience and ease of access.

The initiative comes to an objective in providing a secure and efficient national identification system for all Filipinos and resident aliens. By setting up mobile registration booths in shopping malls, PhilSys hopes to reach a broader demographic and streamline the registration process.

Additionally, the PRT also answers questions and concerns regarding the implementation of the PhilSys particularly the request on replacement for damaged PhilID, updating of erroneous demographic information and the process of lost PhilID card.

The Mall-Based Registration encourage people to participate and register to PhilSys while keeping a strong-ties to the stakeholders.
