The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Davao Occidental Provincial Statistical Office announces the conduct of the Online Report on Davao Occidental’s February 2024 Inflation on 14 March 2024 (Thursday) at 10:00AM. This event will be streamed through a video conference using GMeet and Facebook Live.
The Davao Occidental annual headline inflation increased to 7.0 percent in February 2024 from 5.6 percent in January 2024. With this month’s inflation, Davao Occidental average inflation for the first two months of 2024 stood at 6.3 percent. In February 2023, the inflation rate was higher at 8.7 percent.
The Davao Occidental headline inflation rate for the bottom 30% income households increased to 7.8 percent in February 2024 from 5.4 percent in January 20247. In February 2023, the inflation rate was posted at 11.6 percent.
