The Davao Occidental headline inflation rate for the bottom 30% income households declined further to 2.9 percent in September 2024 from 6.6 percent in August 2024. In September 2023, the inflation rate was higher at 5.5 percent.
The Davao Occidental annual headline inflation declined further to 3.6 percent in September 2024 from 6.8 percent in August 2024. With this month’s inflation, Davao Occidental average inflation for the nine months of 2024 stood at 6.8 percent. In September 2023, the inflation rate was higher at 5.7 percent.
The Philippines Statistics Authority is the lead agency mandated in carrying out the provisions in implementing the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys). In line with this, the Davao Occidental Provincial Statistical Office headed by Supervising Statistical Specialist, Officer-in-charge Munria L. Banto strengthen its commitment to register 92 million Filipinos by the end of September 2024 on PhilSys.
