“Hassle-free replacement of Damaged PhilID”
In the province of Davao del Norte, residents can now enjoy a streamlined process for the replacement of damaged Philippine Identification (PhilID) with peeled-off photo, ensuring that individuals have easy access to vital identification services.
The seamless replacement of damaged PhilID is important as the PhilID plays a vital role in giving identification to individuals in transacting from banking to government offices. A damaged PhilID can hinder activities and create unnecessary stress for PhilID owners.
PSA-Based PhilSys Fixed Registration Centers, LGU-Based PhilSys Registration Centers and Mobile PhilSys Registration caters individual who wish for the replacement of their damaged PhilID. Individuals who possessed a damaged PhilID card needs to present it to the aforementioned centers and surrender the damaged PhilID card to the PhilSys personnel. A request form for the replacement PhilID needs to be accomplished by the card owner.
The request form will then be reviewed by the PhilSys personnel, the damaged PhilID card will be transmitted to the PhilSys Registry Office-Central Office Manila for processing. A notification will be sent to the card owner once the replaced PhilID will be returned to the provincial office.
