Summary Inflation Report Consumer Price Index: Davao del Norte (2018=100) April 2024

 

The headline inflation of Davao del Norte decreased by 0.1 percentage point in April 2024 (4.1%) compared to its inflation rate in the same month last year, which was recorded at 4.2 percent. The current inflation rate (4.1%) of the province is higher compared to the headline inflation of the Philippines with 3.8 percent but lower compared to the Davao Region which was recorded at 5.1 percent.

The inflation in Davao del Norte for bottom 30% income households decreased by 1.9 percentage points in April 2024 (3.6%) compared to its inflation rate in the same month last year, which was recorded at 5.5 percent. The current inflation rate (3.6%) in the province is lower compared to the inflation in the Philippines and Davao Region, which stood at 5.2 percent and 5.5 percent.
