The headline inflation of prices in Davao de Oro Province increased to 5.1 percent in November 2023 from 4.4 percent in October 2023 or an increase of 0.7 point. Inflation of prices in November 2022 was higher at 12.1 percent.

The Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of Davao de Oro estimated at 93.10 billion pesos in 2022 grew by 6.1 percent, albeit slower than the 7.4 percent growth rate registered in the previous year.

The headline inflation of prices in Davao de Oro Province decreased to 4.4 percent in October 2023 from 6.1 percent in September 2023 or a decrease of 1.7 points. Inflation of prices in October 2022 was higher at 13.2 percent.

The number of constructions from approved building permits in Davao de Oro increased to 3,258 in 2022. This is higher by 26.2 percent compared with the 2021 output of 2,582 constructions.

The Provincial Statistics Committee (PSC) of Davao de Oro convened for its regular meeting for the third quarter of calendar year 2023, last 27 September at Nabunturan. The meeting was presided by PSC Vice-Chairperson and Chief Statistical Specialist (CSS) Abraham Enrico E. Gulay, Jr.

In celebration of the 122nd Police Service Anniversary of Davao de Oro Police Provincial Office (DDOPPO) spearheaded by PCol. Benedicto F. Faco, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Davao de Oro was featured as one of the recipients of their Special Awards for Partner Agencies who significantly raise the standard police service in the Philippine National Police (PNP) Organization.

PSA Davao de Oro successfully opened the 34th National Statistics Month (NSM) with a motorcade last 02 October 2023. About 50 regular personnel, contract of service workers (COSWs), and Statistical Researchers (SRs) participated along the major streets of the Poblacion area of Nabunturan.
