The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) of Davao de Oro upskills its employees by conducting a training workshop in Basic Videography and Editing Using Smartphone last 17 May 2023. This was in partnership with the Philippine Information Agency (PIA) of the province, headed by Information Center Manager (ICM) Michael L. Uy.
The January to December 2022 total livestock production in Davao de Oro was estimated at 18,773 metric tons, liveweight. This was -2.9 percent lower than the previous year’s output of 19,324 metric tons, liveweight output. From 2020-2022, the recorded levels of production showed an average annual decline of -2.5 percent.

The negative growth was attributed mainly to the decrease in the area harvested from irrigated palay. A movement of cropping pattern was observed wherein more farmers harvested in the third quarter due to early plantings/release of seed assistance from DA/LGUs.

The headline inflation of prices in Davao de Oro Province decreased to 8.1 percent in April 2023 from 11.5 percent in March 2023 or a decrease of 3.4 percentage pointS. Inflation of prices in April 2022 was lower at 7.6 percent. The average inflation for the year 2023 stood at 11.0 percent.
One of the mandates of the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) is to administer civil registration functions in the country through the continuous efforts in intensifying the implementation of PhilSys Birth Registration Assistance Project (PBRAP). To facilitate this undertaking, PSA Davao de Oro, headed by Chief Statistical Specialist (CSS) Abraham Enrico E. Gulay, Jr., in partnership with the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) through the local government units (LGUs) conducted series of mobile registrations for PBRAP.
