In celebration of the 122nd Police Service Anniversary of Davao de Oro Police Provincial Office (DDOPPO) spearheaded by PCol. Benedicto F. Faco, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Davao de Oro was featured as one of the recipients of their Special Awards for Partner Agencies who significantly raise the standard police service in the Philippine National Police (PNP) Organization. The ceremony took place last 09 October 2023 at the Activity Hall of Provincial Capitol, Nabunturan, Davao de Oro with the theme, “Nagkakaisang Pulisya at Pamayanan Tungo sa Mapayapa at Maunlad na Bansa”.

The activity was graced by the presence of Davao de Oro Honorable Governor Dorothy P. Montejo-Gonzaga as their guest speaker, and was attended by uniformed personnel of PNP Davao de Oro and their stakeholders.

It was a groundbreaking activity as the PNP Organization recognizes the accomplishments, achievements and contributions of its personnel and stakeholders to the peace, order, and development of Davao de Oro province.

Chief Statistical Specialist (CSS) Abraham Enrico E. Gulay, Jr. of PSA Davao de Oro received the Plaque of Recognition during the activity as the agency has been in partnership with DDOPPO for the implementation of the PhilSys Birth Registration Project (PBRAP) and Revitalized Police sa Barangay (RPSB) in the province for the search and registration of constituents whose birth records are not yet registered in the PSA and Local Civil Registry Office (LCRO) database.

DDOPPO appreciated the leadership of the PSA in the name of genuine public service anchored to its delivery of relevant and reliable statistics, efficient civil registration services and inclusive identification system for equitable development towards building the nation for better Filipinos.
