As of 30 December 2023, 640,731 individuals in Davao de Oro are reported
to have registered with the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) also
known as the National ID System, constituting 83.5 percent of the province's
total population of 767,547. Notably, during the year 2023, the PhilSys
Registration Team (PRT) registered an additional 28,918 individuals
The headline inflation of prices in Davao de Oro Province decreased to 4.7
percent in December 2023 from 5.1 percent in November 2023 or a
decrease of 0.4 point. Inflation of prices in December 2022 was higher at
12.8 percent.
The headline inflation of prices in Davao de Oro Province increased to 5.1
percent in November 2023 from 4.4 percent in October 2023 or an increase
of 0.7 point. Inflation of prices in November 2022 was higher at 12.1
percent.
The headline inflation of prices in Davao de Oro Province decreased to 4.4 percent in October 2023 from 6.1 percent in September 2023 or a decrease of 1.7 points. Inflation of prices in October 2022 was higher at 13.2 percent.
The number of constructions from approved building permits in Davao de Oro
increased to 3,258 in 2022. This is higher by 26.2 percent compared with the 2021
output of 2,582 constructions.

In celebration of the 122nd Police Service Anniversary of Davao de Oro Police
Provincial Office (DDOPPO) spearheaded by PCol. Benedicto F. Faco, the
Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Davao de Oro was featured as one of the
recipients of their Special Awards for Partner Agencies who significantly raise the
standard police service in the Philippine National Police (PNP) Organization.
The headline inflation of prices in Davao de Oro Province increased to 6.1 percent in September 2023 from 3.6 percent in August 2023 or an increase of 2.5 points. Inflation of prices in August 2022 was higher at 12.5 percent.
