The headline inflation of prices in Davao de Oro decreased at -1.2 percent in February 2025 from January 2025. This brings the provincial average inflation rate to -0.2 percent. The inflation rate in February 2024 was observed at 4.9 percent.

Registered Marriages in Davao de Oro, 2023

 

There were 3,261 registered marriages in 2023, representing a 6.0 percent decrease from 3,470 registered marriages in 2022.

In 2023, a total of 11,192 live births were registered in Davao de Oro, corresponding to a crude birth rate (CBR) of 14.0, or 14 births per thousand population.

The headline inflation or the overall inflation in the province of Davao de Oro for the Bottom 30% of Income Households decelerated to 0.2 percent in January 2025 from 0.4 percent in December 2024. This brings the year-to-date average inflation rate to 0.2 percent. Inflation of prices in January 2024 was observed at 2.6 percent. (Table 1 and Figure 1)

The total volume of fruit production in Davao de Oro for 2023 reached 777,734.74 metric tons, reflecting a decrease of 1.04 percent or 8,174.99 metric tons compared to the 785,909.73 metric tons recorded in 2022.

National ID Registration in Davao de Oro Reaches Milestone at 89.1% Coverage

 

DAVAO DE ORO—As of 31 December 2024, a total of 683,946 individuals, or 89.1 percent of the province’s population of 767,547, have registered to the National Identification System (NIS). In 2024 alone, the National ID Registration Team successfully registered an additional 43,215 individuals. This achievement underscores the province’s commitment to inclusive registration efforts.
PSA Resumes Issuance of National ID in Paper and Introduces Digital National ID Access

 

The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) resumes its issuance of the National ID in Paper formerly known as electronic Philippine Identification (ePhilID) program in Davao de Oro province. This is a proactive strategy of the National ID in providing each individual a way to access the benefits of being National ID-registered. This National ID in Paper, despite being printed on a paper, serves as a digital copy of the National ID, mirroring the same functionality of the physical card.
