The Philippine Statistics Authority – Davao de Oro Provincial Statistical Office announces the conduct of the Provincial Data Dissemination Forum on 2021 Official Poverty Statistics and 2020 Census on Population and Housing (CPH) Available Variables on 28 October 2022 (Friday), 9:00 a.m. at Comval Hotel, Poblacion, Nabunturan.
As part of the proactive strategy of the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys), a briefing on the 2022 PhilSys ePhilID Rollout was conducted last 03 October 2022 in Davao de Oro Provincial Statistical Office.
The headline inflation of prices in Davao de Oro Province increased to 12.5 percent in September 2022 from 10.2 percent in August 2022. This is the highest recorded inflation of prices since January 2019. Inflation of prices in September 2021 was lower at 3.9 percent. The average inflation for the first nine months of the year stood at 8.6 percent. (see Table 1 and Figure 1)

The Provincial Statistics Committee (PSC) Davao de Oro convened last 29 September 2022 at Nabunturan for CY 2022 Third Regular Meeting with ten member agencies in attendance. The convening was called to order by PSC Vice-Chairperson Nova P. Vicente, on behalf of PSC Chairperson Alicia M. Graciadas.
15 September 2022 – MONTEVISTA. The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Davao de Oro conducted the tree planting activity at Barangay Linoan, Montevista last 15 September 2022. The said activity was conducted as part of the celebration of the 9th founding anniversary of PSA. The event was participated by the regular and contract of service workers (COSWs) of the provincial office, headed by the new Officer-in-Charge (OIC) Supervising Statistical Specialist (SSS) Nova P. Vicente.
15-16 September 2022 – MONTEVISTA. The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Davao de Oro conducted its 2022 Sportsfest and Family Day at Montevista Sports Complex last 15 to 16 September 2022. This two-day event is in celebration of the 9th founding anniversary of PSA. The said activity was participated by the regular and contract of service workers (COSWs) of the provincial office, headed by the new Officer-in-Charge (OIC) Supervising Statistical Specialist (SSS) Nova P. Vicente.
As of 31 August 2021, a total of 600,201 Filipinos from the 11 municipalities in Province of Davao de Oro have completed the Step 2 Registration for PhilSys (National ID). Step 2 Registration is the validation of supporting documents and capturing of biometric information such as Iris, fingerprints and front facing photograph at registration centers. The Registration teams are conducting mobile registration by barangay, purok and school institutions to register individual ages 5 years old and over.
