The Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) of the Philippines Statistics Authority of Davao de Oro resumes distribution of the printable version of ePhilID in the province last 03 January 2023.
This PhilSys Digital ID is a proactive strategy of PSA to allow registrants to immediately enjoy the benefits of being PhilSys registered. It was launched last October 2022, and the modes of issuance were through plaza type and house-to-house distribution by hired PSA personnel. A total of 89,437 printed ePhilID from registered persons were successfully distributed to the 11 municipalities of the province as of 31 December 2022.
Features of the ePhilID contain the person’s PhilSys Card Number (PCN) and basic demographic information: last name, given name, middle name and suffix, sex, blood type, marital status, place and date of birth front-facing photograph, address, generation date and the QR code.
To verify the authenticity of the printed ePhilID, the holder may scan the QR Code through PhilSys Check at https://verify.philsys.gov.ph/QR Scan. The PhilSys Check will display a successful verification message and will match the demographic information displayed at the ePhilID including the front-facing photograph of the holder.
