Proclamation No. 682 by then President Corazon C. Aquino declares February of every year as Civil Registration Month (CRM). Pursuant to this, the Philippine Statistics Authority – Davao del Norte Provincial Statistical Office celebrated the CRM with the theme, “Inclusive and Responsive CRVS: Working Smarter Through Innovation".

Davao del Norte’s headline inflation rate further slowed down to 3.1 percent in January 2019, lower than the 4.3 percent rate posted on the previous month and the 4.1 percent rate in January 2018. The average retail price of the fixed basket of consumer goods and services in Davao del Norte was recorded at 120.4, dropping by 3.1 percent from the price level on the same month of the previous year (116.8). Despite the slowdown in the headline inflation rate, mark-ups were recorded in all the indices, excluding education.

Occupied Housing Units of Davao del Norte reached 230,520 Based on the 2015 Census of Population (POPCEN 2015), the number of occupied housing units in Davao del Norte as of August 1, 2015 was 230,520. This is 23,341 higher than the 207,179 occupied housing units reported in 2010 and 83,093 more than the 147,427 occupied housing units posted in 2000.

Based on the 2015 Census of Population (POPCEN 2015), the number of occupied housing units in the Municipality of B.E Dujali as of August 1, 2015 was 5,367. This is 357 higher than the 5,010 occupied housing units reported on May 1, 2010 and 2,108 more than the 3,259 occupied housing units posted on May 1, 2000.

As part of the celebration of the Philippine Environment Month this June, the Philippine Statistics Authority-Davao del Norte PSO conducted a Tree Planting Activity (Mangrove Planting) last June 20, 2017 at Fishing Village Brgy Bincungan, City of Tagum. This is in coordination with City of Tagum through the City of Tagum Environment and Natural Resources Office (City ENRO). The activity was participated by fifteen (15) PSO personnel, with the assistance of Ms. Mona Grace Garay, City ENRO staff.
