Inflation rate in Davao del Norte moved at a slower pace in March 2019, posting a rate of 2.0 percent. This is even lower than the 3.1 percent rate recorded on the previous month and the 5.0 percent rate in March 2018. The average retail price of the fixed basket of consumer goods and services in the province hiked up from 117.6 in March 2018 to 119.9 in the current month, registering an increase of 2.0 percent. All indices, excluding education, posted higher annual gains.
Davao del Norte retained its headline inflation rate at 3.1 percent in February 2019. This is the same rate recorded on the previous month and lower than the 4.8 percent rate in February 2018. A percent change in the average retail price of the fixed basket of consumer goods and services in Davao del Norte of 3.1 was recorded in February 2019, the price situation increasing from 117.2 on the same month of the previous year to 120.8 on the current month. Mark-ups were observed in all the indices, excluding education.

This is 23,341 higher than the 207,179 occupied housing units reported in 2010 and 83,093 more than the 147,427 occupied housing units posted in 2000.
Based on the 2015 Census of Population (POPCEN 2015), the number of occupied housing units in the Municipality of B.E Dujali as of August 1, 2015 was 5,367. This is 357 higher than the 5,010 occupied housing units reported on May 1, 2010 and 2,108 more than the 3,259 occupied housing units posted on May 1, 2000.
As part of the celebration of the Philippine Environment Month this June, the Philippine Statistics Authority-Davao del Norte PSO conducted a Tree Planting Activity (Mangrove Planting) last June 20, 2017 at Fishing Village Brgy Bincungan, City of Tagum. This is in coordination with City of Tagum through the City of Tagum Environment and Natural Resources Office (City ENRO). The activity was participated by fifteen (15) PSO personnel, with the assistance of Ms. Mona Grace Garay, City ENRO staff.
