The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) is proud to announce the official opening of another PhilSys Step 2 Registration Center in Davao del Sur located at Padada Central Elementary School, Barangay NCO, Municipality of Padada. The PhilSys Registration Team (PRT) of Padada composed of three (3) teams with three (3) Registration Center Supervisors, nine (9) Registration Kit Operators, three (3) Screeners and three (3) Alternate Screeners. A ribbon cutting ceremony was held last September 09, 2021.

To celebrate the grand opening of PhilSys Registration Center for Step 2 Registration, Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) – Davao del Sur held a ribbon cutting ceremony last August 26, 2021 at Malalag Central Elementary School, Poblacion, Municipality of Malalag, Davao del Sur.
The Province of Davao del Sur and Davao City registered a total of 42,592 Live Births by the Usual Residence of the Mother, 10,414 Marriages by Month and Place of marriage, and listed a total of 15,516 Deaths by the Usual Residence of the deceased in the year 2019. Relative to Davao Region’s registered Vital Events, Davao City recorded the most number of registered Vital Events, that is, 31,780 Live Births (36.99%) of 85,905 Live Births (Davao Region); 7,871 Marriages (35.94%) of 21,901 Marriages (Davao Region); and 11,146 Deaths (34.42%) of 32,384 Deaths (Davao Region).
The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) – Davao del Sur held a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the grand opening of Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) Registration Center at the Municipal Engineering Office Building in Purok 6, Poblacion, Municipality of Sulop, Davao del Sur on August 20, 2021.The ceremony was led by PSA Davao del Sur Chief Statistical Specialist (CSS) Mr. Randolph Anthony B. Gales and the PhilSys Provincial Focal Person Ms. Munria Lauban- Banto together with the Assistant PhilSys Provincial Focal Person Mr. Lord Anthony Jandayan. It was attended by Local Government Unit - Officials headed by Mayor Jose Jimmy S. Sagarino, Vice Mayor Willie S. Villegas, SB Members, ABC President, SK Federation President, Municipal Civil Registration Staff, Municipal Management Team Members and PhilSys Registration Team (PRT).
Republic Act No. 10625, also known as the Philippine Statistical Act of 2013, created the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) as the primary statistical agency of the government. Executive Order No. 352 states the designation of statistical activities that will generate critical data for decision-making of the government and the private sector. Batas Pambansa (BP) Bilang 72, provides also the basis for the conduct of the decennial integrated census of population and housing. Pursuant to these laws, the Philippine Statistics Authority undertook the 2020 Census of Population and Housing (CPH).
The total population of the Municipality of Kiblawan as of May 1, 2020 was recorded at 49,381 persons based on the 2020 Census of Population and Housing (CPH) conducted during the month of September 2020. It accounted for the about 7.26 percent of the population of Davao del Sur (excluding Davao City) in year 2020.The population for the municipality for the year 2020 is higher by 484 persons compared with the population of 48,897 in year 2015; by 4,763 persons compared with the population of 44,618 in year 2010; and by 8,106 persons compared with the population of 41,275 in year 2000. The total population of the Municipality of Bansalan as of May 1, 2020 was recorded at 62,737 persons based on the 2020 Census of Population and Housing (CPH) conducted during the month of September 2020. It accounted for the about 9.22 percent of the population of Davao del Sur (excluding Davao City) in year 2020.The population for the municipality for the year 2020 is higher by 2,297 persons compared with the population of 60,440 in year 2015; by 6,241 persons compared with the population of 56,496 in year 2010; and by 10,956 persons compared with the population of 61,801 in year 2000.
The April-June 2019 palay production dropped to 2,871 Metric Ton (MT) from 3,459 MT in 2018 or by 17.0 percent. Likewise, harvest area contracted to 819 hectares from last year’s level of 1,042 hectares. Yield per hectare improved by 5.72 percent from 3.32 MT in 2018 to 3.51 MT in 2019 (Fig. 3). Reduction in harvest areas were accounted to unrealized plantings in some areas in Calinan, Tugbok, Buhangin and Paquibato districts due to inadequate water supply during the first quarter of 2019.

The 2015 population is higher by 3,436 compared with the population of 35,295in 2010, and by 5,397 compared with the population of 33,334 in 2000.
Population of the Municipality of Matanao in 2015 is 56,755 The population of the municipality of Matanao, as of August 1, 2015 was 56,755 based on the 2015 Census of Population (POPCEN 2015). The 2015 population is higher by 5,373 compared with the population of 51,382 in 2010, and by 9,839 compared with the population of 46,916 in 2000.
