Last February 6, 2019, the Philippine Statistics Authority Davao del Sur (PSA-DDS) Provincial Statistical Office participated in the Trade and Exhibit Fair 2019 of the Southern Philippines Agri-Business and Marine and Aquatic School of Technology (SPAMAST) held within the vicinity of their Digos City Campus Branch located in Matti, Digos City, Davao del Sur. The said affair was in line with the celebration of the school’s 37th founding anniversary.

Last February 1, 2019, the Philippine Statistics Authority Davao del Sur (PSA-DDS) Provincial Statistical Office conducted the Opening Ceremony for the 2019 Civil Registration (CR) Month held at the training center of the provincial office located at Yap Building, corner of Bangoy and Monteverde Streets, Davao City. It was participated by the regular personnel of the office and as well as the job order staff and on-the-job apprentices. For this year, the celebration carried the theme: “Inclusive and responsive CRVS: Working Smarter through Innovation.”

The 2015 population is higher by 19,502 compared with the population of 149,891 in 2010, and by 44,222 compared with the population of 125,171 in 2000. Refer to Table 1.
The population of Davao del Sur as of August 1, 2015 was 632,588 based on 2015 Census of Population (POPCEN 2015). The 2015 population is higher by 57,678 compared with the population of 574,910 of 2010, and by 128,299 compared with the population of 504,289 in 2000. Refer to Table 1.
