The year-on-year headline inflation of Davao Region moved downward to 4.4 percent in January 2024, from 5.3 percent in December 2023.

In October 2023, Davao Region's total population 15 years old and over was estimated at 3.78 million. Labor Force Participation Rate (LFPR) during this period was at 63.9 percent, accounting for 2.42 million Davaoeños (see Table 1).
