Pursuant to Presidential Proclamation No. 647, the Philippine Statistics Authority celebrates the National Statistics Month. This October 2024, the 35th NSM carries the theme “Advancing Data and Statistics Through Digital Transformation: A Road to an Empowered Nation” which highlights the efforts in modernizing the statistical system through the adoption of digital tools and platforms to improve the accuracy, timeliness and accessibility of statistics.
In line with this celebration the PSA Davao Occidental in partnership with the DENR and Brgy. Government of Bolila conducted tree growing activity at Brgy. Bolila, Malita, Davao Occidental. PSA Personnel clean the area where the Mahogany and Narra Trees were planted last 25 June 2023 (National Arbor Day) also, trees who died were replaced during the said activity.
With the goal of serving in a clear and practical way, PSA Davao Occidental relished the activity. Being a part of the restoration of the environment has given everyone a greater understanding of their social and environmental duty to protect what is genuine and natural; as a result, being at one with nature always makes one feel noble and free. Through the exercise, every employee of PSA was reminded of the office's shared objective of serving its constituents with a collaborative spirit and a sense of oneness in achieving the office's mandate.
