“Bringing the benefits of PhilSys registered to the farthest corners”

The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), Provincial Statistical Office-Davao del Norte (PSO-DavNor) in coordination with the Local Government Unit of Talaingod, through the Office of the Local Civil Registrars (OLCR), brought the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) Mobile Registration and PhilSys Birth Registration Assistance Project (PBRAP) closer to the Indigenous People (IP)/Indgienous Cultural Community (ICC) of far flung mountainous Sitio Peruy, Barangay Dagohoy, Municipality of Talaingod. 

The two-day registration activity conducted by PhilSys Mobile Registration Team (PMRT) on 9-10 August 2023 was headed by Registration Officer II Arneil J. Lagansua. 

 The Chieftain/Tribal Leader accompanied by our IP brothers assisted the team in bringing the registration kits, materials, equipment, and other registration related-materials, through trekking up the mountainous man-trail to the sitio, with five-hour foot travel.
