The Provincial Statistics Committee (PSC) Davao de Oro convened last 29 March 2023 at Nabunturan for the CY 2023 First Regular Meeting with 12 member agencies in attendance. The convening was presided by PSC Chairperson and Provincial Planning and Development Coordinator (PPDC) Alicia M. Graciadas, EnP.

Seven provisional agenda for presentation, information, and approval were discussed during the meeting, to wit: 2022 PSC Davao de Oro accomplishment report, updates on the implementation of the 2022 Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS), updates on the generation and dissemination of Provincial Product Accounts (PPA), updates on the consultative workshop on map boundaries in the province, enjoining the support to the conduct of the 2022 Census of Agriculture and Fisheries (CAF), PSC Davao de Oro agenda forecast for the second until the fourth regular meetings, and latest PSA Board approved resolutions.

During the convening three PSC resolutions were deliberated, adopted, and approved by the committee specific to the provision of the latest municipal administrative maps with barangay delineation using the DENR-NAMRIA official maps for use censuses and surveys within Davao de Oro province, support to the conduct of 2022 CAF, and the PSC agenda forecast for the remaining quarters of the year.

Capacity buildings for the statistical activities and System of National Accounts for PSC member agencies is among the business arising during the discussion.

Lastly, the Committee is set to meet for their second regular meeting on 19 May 2023.
