As a social responsible agency, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Davao de Oro extends their services to the differently abled persons deprived of liberty (PDLs) in the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) Montevista District Jail last 24 July 2023. This activity was also in celebration of the 45th National Disability Prevention and Rehabilitation Week with the theme, “Persons with Disabilities Accessibility and Rights Towards a Sustainable Future where No One is Left Behind”.
Among the services given were the free consultation on civil registration matters, Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) or National ID registration, and giving of essential items to the selected 20 individuals of the institution.
On behalf of the District Jail Warden JCINSP Jul Akbar Jamiri, Deputy Warden SJO2 Ronnie Engging welcomed the personnel of PSA Davao de Oro and expressed his gratitude for the privilege given to their institution in bringing the PSA services to their constituents as part of the agency’s corporate social responsibility (CSR).
BJMP Montevista District Jail has been one of the partner institutions of the office for the provision of civil registration services, National ID registration, and in fulfilling civic duties that will benefit the society.
This CSR is one of the lined-up activities in celebration of the PSA@10: Providing Quality Services through Digital Transformation.
