22-23 June 2024, Brgy. Camalig, Municipality of Sarangani, Davao Occidental –In a significant move to bridge the gap between urban and rural development, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Davao Occidental Provincial Statistical Office proudly participated in the Regional Interagency Committee on Indigenous People’s (IP) Health (RIAC-IPH) community outreach and immersion activity aimed at Indigenous Peoples (IPs) residing in geographically isolated and disadvantaged areas (GIDAs) of the Municipality of Sarangani, Davao Occidental. This event underscores PSA's commitment to inclusivity and its dedication to reaching out to the communities.

This 2-day Community Outreach Program was led by the Department of Health-Center for Health Development (DOH CHD) XI, in partnership with the National Commission on Indigenous Peoples and all other government agencies and private health institutions to bring health and other services closer to the people.

And as a counterpart to the activity during the RIAC-IPH XI Community Outreach and Immersion Activity, Philippine Statistical Office – Davao Occidental deliver the following services to wit:
-PhilSys Registration
-CRD Consultation
-Birth Certificate Request
-Death Certificate Request
-CENOMAR Request
-Marriage Certificate Request
-Distribution of SECPA to Birth Registration Assistance Project (BRAP) Beneficiaries
-Free Registration to Birth Registration Assistance Project (BRAP) Beneficiaries
