As of 31 August 2021, a total of 600,201 Filipinos from the 11 municipalities in Province of Davao de Oro have completed the Step 2 Registration for PhilSys (National ID). Step 2 Registration is the validation of supporting documents and capturing of biometric information such as Iris, fingerprints and front facing photograph at registration centers. The Registration teams are conducting mobile registration by barangay, purok and schools institution to register individual ages 5 years old and over. The PSA targets to register 92 millions filipinos by the end of 2022.
