The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Davao de Oro participated in the 4th Municipal Environment Day of the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Nabunturan spearheaded by Municipal Mayor Myrocel Clarin-Balili. The said activity is in line with the celebration of the 2023 Philippine Environment Month, with a theme: “Environment for Life”. A total of 207 seedlings of Lawaan, Banaba, and Salingbobog were planted along the national highway in Poblacion, Nabunturan.
PSA Davao de Oro personnel joined the simultaneous tree planting activity under the Nabunturan Greenbelt Program, together with the personnel from the Employee's Union of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Davao de Oro 1st District, Nabunturan Native Tree Enthusiasts (NNTE), Nabunturan Fire Station, and Northern Davao Electric Cooperative (NORDECO).
