The 2022 Census of Agriculture and Fisheries (CAF) has officially started on 04 September 2023!

To kick off the data collection for the 2022 CAF which runs from 04 September to 25 October 2023, a motorcade was conducted on the major streets of the Poblacion area of Nabunturan. About 70 PSA regular personnel, contract of service workers (COSWS), and hired census field personnel participated in this motorcade to intensify the dissemination of information relative to CAF, boost support, and ensure wider cooperation of residents in the enumeration.

The 2022 CAF is a comprehensive census that seeks to determine the structural characteristics of agricultural and fisheries sectors, provide insights into various crop farming, livestock, poultry, culturing of worms and insects, and fishing operations, and collect information on the available facilities and services in the barangays.

Since CAF is conducted only once in every ten (10) years, the collective support and cooperation from the general public is essential for the realization of this large-scale undertaking of the government.

The month of September was also declared as the National Agriculture and Fisheries Census Month.
