A WAY TO CELEBRATE 2023 NATIONAL WOMEN’S MONTH: GIFT GIVING ACTIVITY AT CORRECTIONAL INSTITUTION FOR WOMEN

“WE for Gender Equality and Inclusive Society”

The 2023 National Women’s Month Celebration marks ajuncture in the advancements of women’s rights and served as a venue to 
highlight women’s achievements, empowerment and gender equality.  Davao del Norte Provincial Statistical Office (DavNor PSO) supports and joins the Philippine Commission on Women (PCW) in the celebration of the 2023 National Women’s Month Celebration in month of March in every year. In consonance with the celebration, DavNor PSO headed by Chief Statistical Specialist (CSS) Pepito D. Amoyen initiated a simple gift giving activity to the Persons Deprived in Liberty (PDL) at the Correctional Institution for Women (CIW), Barangay Bobongon, Santo Tomas on 20 March 2023.

DavNor PSO employees and staffs contributed to have in-kind donations such as sets of microfiber cloth, toiletries and disinfectants. It is a heartfelt social responsibility that the employees of DavNor PSO will extends to the women’s in the aforesaid institution.
