Philippine Statistical Office – Davao Occidental headed by Chief Statistical Specialist Jessie A. Madulin kicks-off the registration of children from one (1) year old to four (4) years old. The registration can be initiated through sequential registration in any PhilSys Registration Center (RC).

The parent or guardian shall accompany the minor below 5 years old to the Registration Center. The former shall bring the identification and/or supporting documents of the minor.

Moreover, the accompanying parent or guardian shall bring his/her PhilID/ePhilID, subject to PhilSys check verification, along with any of the following documents that will serve as proof of his/her relationship with the minor:

a. PSA/LCRO-issued Certificate of Live Birth;
b. Authorization Letter executed by the parent of the child;
c. Death Certificate if both parents were deceased;
d. Agency ID in case the child is under the care of an institutional population.

Registration Centers are going around all barangay, sitios and schools of the five municipalities just to reach those unregistered individuals specially children ages below five years old. The PSA encourages everyone to submit themselves to registration as well as support its future endeavors.
