The National Identification System (NIDS) Davao Occidental supported the 35th National Civil Registration Month, which kicked off on 03 February 2025 at the Municipality of Sarangani, Davao Occidental. The event was led by Chief Statistical Specialist (CSS) Jessie A. Madulin, alongside Registration Officer I (RO I) Marian Jade M. Caluyan and NIDS Focal Person Al-Stephen R. Hervas. Municipal Local Civil Registrars within the five municipalities of Davao Occidental were also present during the event.

As part of the program, NIDS Focal Person Hervas conducted an information awareness campaign, highlighting the key features of the National ID system, introducing its various formats, and explaining how to authenticate the National Identification.

Additionally, FP Hervas discussed the rebranding of the National ID and engaging with teachers, students, and Local Government Unit (LGU) staff to enhance their understanding of the system’s benefits and improvements.

This initiative underscores NIDS Davao Occidental's commitment to promoting awareness and accessibility of the National Identification System (NIDS).
