26 March 2024 – PSA, Malita, Davao Occidental. The Provincial Statistics Committee (PSC) of Davao Occidental conducted its 1st quarter meeting for year 2024 on 26 March 2024 at Training Room, 3rd Flr, Philippine Statistics Authority Davao Occidental Provincial Statistical Office, National Highway, Poblacion Malita, Davao Occidental. The meeting was presided by the new PSC Chairperson and currently the Acting-Provincial Planning and Development Coordinator (PPDC) of Davao Occidental, Ms. Jocelyn R. Batucan, MPA. Presenter and discussants during the provisional agenda was PSA Davao Occidental Chief Statistical Specialist Jessie A. Madulin. Meanwhile, co-presenters during the meeting were Supervising Statistical Specialist Munria L. Banto, Statistical Specialist II Kimberly M. Ocariza, Statistical Analyst Karen Rozyll G. Abaro, and COSW-Statistical Analyst Mae Leonacor C. Sibla.
                                                                        
The meeting was attended by 20 staff or representatives from member-agencies. Represented agencies during the meeting were: Department of Labor and Employment – Davao Occidental Provincial Office, 73rd Infantry Battalion, 10th Infantry Division, Provincial Planning and Development Office, Philippine Statistics Authority, Department of Science and Technology, Provincial Agricultural Office, Provincial Agrarian Reform Office, Provincial Health Office, SPAMAST, Department of Interior Local Government, Provincial Public Employment Services Office, Representative of the Local Civil Registrars, and the Municipal Planning and Development Offices of Jose Abad Santos, Malita, and Sarangani.

The meeting started with the request for the approval of the following provisional agenda for the 2024 1st Quarter Meeting:

The PSC, is the policy-making body on statistical terms, conducts quarterly meetings to discuss statistical challenges, any other important issues, and the resolution of statistical issues in the province. The Philippine Statistics Authority Davao Occidental Provincial Statistical Office recognizes the importance of the well-representation of local offices and agencies in addressing statistical issues.
