20 May  2024 – PSA, Malita, Davao Occidental. The Provincial Statistics Committee (PSC) of Davao Occidental conducted its 2nd quarter meeting for year 2024 on 20 May 2024 at Training Room, 3rd Flr, Philippine Statistics Authority Davao Occidental Provincial Statistical Office, National Highway, Poblacion Malita, Davao Occidental. The meeting was presided by the PSC Chairperson and Provincial Planning and Development Coordinator (PPDC) of Davao Occidental, Ms. Jocelyn R. Batucan, MPA. Presenter and discussants during the provisional agenda were PSA Davao Occidental Chief Statistical Specialist Jessie A. Madulin. Senior Statistical Specialist Rodon S. Tahil, Statistical Specialist II Karen Rozyll G. Abaro, Statistical Specialist II Kimberly M. Ocariza, COSW-Statistical Analyst Mae Leonacor C. Sibla, COSW-Information Statistical Analyst I Jade Jastine C. Diputado, and COSW-Statistical Clerks Paulo B. Lerin and Limwell C. Elemento. Information Officer III Carina L. Cayon of Philippine Information Agency (PIA) was also present as guest and presenter.
                                                                        
The meeting was attended by 19 member-agencies. Represented agencies during the meeting were: Provincial Planning and Development Office, Provincial Agricultural Office, Provincial Agrarian Reform Office, Provincial Budget Office, Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office, Department of Interior Local Government, Department of Education-Schools Division of Davao Occidental, Davao Occidental Provincial Police Office, Provincial Public Employment Services Office, Provincial Veterinary Office, Provincial Tourism Office, Land Transportation Office, 73rd Infantry Battalion, 10th Infantry Division, Malita Municipal Civil Registrar, Department of Trade and Industry, Business Permit and Licensing Office – Malita, Provincial Cooperative Development Office, and Sta. Maria Municipal Planning and Development Office.

The meeting started with the request for the approval of the following provisional agenda for the 2024 2nd Quarter Meeting:

The PSC, is the policy-making body on statistical terms, conducts quarterly meetings to discuss statistical challenges, any other important issues, and the resolution of statistical issues in the province. The Philippine Statistics Authority Davao Occidental Provincial Statistical Office recognizes the importance of the well-representation of local offices and agencies in addressing statistical issues.
