“PSA @ 10: Providing Efficient and Effective Civil Registration

and Vital Statistics through Digital Transformation” On January 28, 1991

– Proclamation No. 682 has been signed by then President Corazon C.

Aquino declaring February of every year as the Civil Registration Month (CRM).

In consonance with the celebration, the PSA Davao del Norte

together with the Davao del Norte League of Civil Registrar

commenced the 33rd Civil Registration Month through a motorcade

in the morning of 01 February 2023.

The motorcade started at the Davao del Norte (DavNor) Provincial Statistical Office (PSO) going through the major routes of Tagum City leading to New City Hall of Tagum, J.V. Ayala Avenue, Apokon Road, City of Tagum.

A launching program after the motorcade was hosted by the Tagum City Civil Registrar’s Office. It was participated by the PSA DavNor Employees, Davao del Norte League of Local Civil Registrar and employees of the Tagum City Civil Registrar.

CSS Amoyen on his Opening Remarks Different activities from the different City/Municipal Local Civil Registrar’s Office in celebration for the Civil Registration Month was also announced. Among these are: Acting City Civil Registrar Editha G. Mccartney of Tagum City, Acting City Civil Registrar Libertad V. Regis of Panabo City, and Municipal Civil Registrar Edelmira M. Recto of Santo Tomas.

EA IV Uy-Salazar delivered her message. The program was ended smoothly by the President of Davao del Norte League of Civil Registrar – Joel Padillo, City Civil Registrar of Island Garden City of Samal, highlighting this year’s CRM theme encapsulates the used of digital technology to empower efficient and effective implementation of civil registration and vital statistics for betterment on building customer gratification.
