On 09 February 2023 the Philippine Statistics Authority- Davao Occidental headed by Chief Statistical Specialist Jessie A. Madulin together with Statistical Specialist II Rodon S. Tahil visited the Office of the Municipal Mayor of Jose Abad Santos Hon. Jason John A. Joyce. The courtesy call was made to inform the good mayor on the implementation of Community-Based Monitoring System in their municipality. CSS Madulin emphasized on the importance and benefits in conducting CBMS. He likewise expressed the gratitude of the PSA for the expressed intent of the Municipality of Jose Abad Santos in joining the roll-out of CBMS in year 2023. CSS Madulin also discussed the 33^rd Civil Registration Month Celebration which is celebrated in the whole month of February 2023. He informed Mayor Joyce on the important role of the LGU in achieving the goal of 100% registration of vital events in the municipality. 
 

Mayor Joyce assured the PSA of his support in all undertakings of the office that is conducted in his area of responsibility. Mayor Joyce was delighted when CSS Madulin inform him that 2 LCRO staff of Jose Abad Santos will represent the province of Davao Occidental in the regional elimination of the LCRO Civil Registration Quiz which will be held on 17 February 2023 in Grand Regal Hotel, Davao City. He pledges his support to the LCRO staff that will be sent to the said regional elimination.

Lastly, CSS Madulin informed the Mayor on the different activities being currently conducted by PSA in the Municipality of Jose Abad Santos like the PhilSys Birth Registration Assistance Project (PBRAP) and the PhilSys Identification System.
