On 8-9 of May 2025, the Philippine Statistics Authority – Davao Occidental, through the National Identification System (NIDS), conducted a co-location activity in partnership with the Local Civil Registry (LCR) Office of the Municipality of Jose Abad Santos. The initiative was spearheaded by Chief Statistical Specialist (CSS) Jessie A. Madulin, alongside NIDS Focal Person Al-Stephen Hervas, NIDS Registration Kit Operator Gliezel Gildore, and Birth Registration Assistants Eduard Fiel Dayag and Jhudith Borja. The LCR team was led by Ms. Hazel B. Preglo and supported by the entire registry office personnel.
The two-day activity was held at the LCR Office and provided essential identificationservices to local residents. Among the services offered were National ID registration, Transaction Reference Number (TRN) retrieval, issuance of the National ID in paper form, replacement of defective National IDs, and assistance in the generation of Digital National IDs. The joint effort aimed to make the National Identification System more accessible, particularly in geographically isolated and disadvantaged areas.

This collaborative initiative reflects the ongoing commitment of PSA-Davao Occidental and municipalities of the said province to bring government services closer to the people. Through partnerships like this, the delivery of efficient and inclusive services is made possible, ensuring that every Filipino is properly documented and empowered through a national identity.
