The year-on-year regional inflation of Davao Region moved upward to 9.6 percent in September 2022, from 8.9 percent in August 2022. This is the highest recorded inflation since January 2022. The average inflation for the first nine months of the year stood at 5.1 percent. (Table 1 and Figure 1). Over 2.13 million part of the total workforce population in Davao Region Davao Region's total population 15 years old and over for April 2022 was estimated at 3.71 million. Labor Force Participation Rate (LFPR) during this period was at 57.4 percent, accounting for 2.13 million Davaoeños (see Table 1).
