The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) XI announces the conduct of the Regional Data Dissemination Forum on the 2024 Functional Literacy, Education and Mass Media Survey (FLEMMS) which will be held on 29 May 2025 (Thursday) from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Acacia Hotel Davao, J.P. Laurel Avenue, Lanang, Davao City. This event will be streamed through a video conference using Zoom and Facebook Live.

PSA XI OIC-Regional Director Randolph Anthony B. Gales will be the resource person for the event.

The 2024 FLEMMS is one of the designated statistical activities for critical policy and decision-making by the government per Executive Order No. 352. It is the main source of basic and functional literacy statistics in the Philippines, which are essential  in achieving the targets outlined in the Philippine Development Plan 2023-2028 Chapter 2 - Promote Human and Social Development, and the Sustainable Development Goal 4 - Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.
