The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA)-XI informs the public that the Step 2 Registration for the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) in Davao Region is ongoing on a gradual, small-scale basis opening of Registration Centers (RC)s to ensure safety of the registrants and staff.
For Davao Region, as of 15 March 2021, a total of 73,862 individuals have been successfully registered. These registered individuals are now waiting for the Step 3, which is the issuance of the PhilSys Number (PSN) and Philippine ID (PhilID).
At present, 28 registration centers are operating in Davao Region located at the following:
Davao de Oro – 7 RCs
Davao del Norte – 7 RCs
Davao City – 12 RCs
Davao Occidental – 2 RCs.
These registration centers are currently accommodating those who have been pre-registered last year.
Meanwhile, Davao Oriental has only started its Step 1 Registration this year. As of 15 March 2021, a total of 536,486 registrants have undergone the Step 1 PhilSys registration process for Davao Region in 2021 since its operations resumed last 18 January 2021. This translates to 91.57% completion rate out of the 585,900 targeted figure.
