The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Davao de Oro, spearheaded by Chief Statistical Specialist (CSS) Abraham Enrico E. Gulay, Jr., has successfully conducted its first Online Report on Davao de Oro's Inflation last 12 March 2024. This marks a significant step in providing valuable insights into the economic landscape of the province.

The virtual presentation covered the headline provincial inflation or the movement of the prices of goods and services in Davao de Oro for February 2024.  It highlighted the commodity groups that have the largest contribution share to the trend of the month’s inflation. The event brought together the Information Officers of the Provincial and Municipal Government of Davao de Oro, the members of the Provincial Statistics Committee of the province, key stakeholders, and the general public to be informed on the inflation trends in the province. The presentation provided attendees with a comprehensive overview of the economic conditions and potential implications for various sectors within Davao de Oro.

Starting February 2024, the Provincial Statistics Office of PSA Davao de Oro will be having a monthly report on the province’s inflation. Provincial line agencies, local government units, the academe, and the general public are encouraged to witness and stay updated on the current economic situation of the province.
