The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Davao de Oro conducted a Special Registration for the National ID System on 07 July 2025 at the Davao de Oro Provincial Hospital in Brgy. Poblacion, Montevista, Davao de Oro.

The special registration was carried out in response to a request from a concerned family member of a patient currently confined at the provincial hospital due to a serious medical condition. The family sought assistance as the National ID is a primary document required by PhilHealth to process benefits and ease the burden of medical expenses.

By bringing the registration service directly to the hospital, the PSA demonstrated its commitment to making the National ID accessible to all, especially tho facing health challenges or limited mobility.

This effort highlights the vital role of the National Identification System, not just as official proof of identity, but as a key to accessing healthcare, social protection, and other essential government services, particularly in urgent situations.

PSA Davao de Oro encourages all residents who have not yet registered to secure their National ID and experience its practical benefits.
