04-08 July 2022 – DAVAO CITY. In preparation for the implementation of the 2022 PSA-led Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS), the Regional Statistical Services Office (RSSO) XI spearheaded Joint 2nd and 3rd Level Training in the 2022 CBMS Data Collection last 04-08 July 2022 held at Mergrande Ocean Resort, Talomo, Davao City.

This five-day training was attended by the selected personnel from the five (5) Philippines Statistical Offices (PSO) of RSSO XI and personnel from partner agencies in the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) and Department of Information, Communication, and Technology (DICT), who are members of the CBMS Council. The participants will act as trainers in their respective municipal level training which are scheduled to be conducted by the month of July 2022. Discussants during the joint training were PSO personnel who attended the task force training headed by Statistical Specialist (SS) II Corazon P. Dres of RSSO XI, SS II Ronald Montesco of PSO Davao Oriental, SS II Charielle Mae Catigara of PSO Davao del Norte, and Information System Analyst (ISA) I Argel Ryan Jayo. Chief Statistical Specialist (CSS) Abraham Enrico E. Gulay, Jr. of PSO Davao de Oro and CSS Pepito D. Amoyen of PSO Davao del Norte also took part in the discussion of the training sessions.

The 2022 CBMS Data Collection training discussed the definitions and concepts of the household on different dimensions of living conditions such as health, nutrition, water, sanitation, shelter, education, income, employment, security, participation, and disaster preparedness, among others. In addition, the technical processes on the CBMS Mobile Application, Geotagging, and MIS were thoroughly discussed to the participants together with the other CBMS Forms to be used during the enumeration.
