“Empowering Jobseekers through Streamlined Access to Vital Documents”

The Philippine Statistics Authority – Davao del Norte Provincial Statistical Office (PSA-PSO DavNor), led by Officer-in-Charge Supervising Statistical Specialist Michelle O. Maningo, actively participated in the 123rd Labor Day Job Fair and First-Time Jobseekers One-Stop Shop spearheaded by the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Davao del Norte Field Office. The event took place at the City Hall Atrium in Tagum City on 30 April 2025.

As part of its continuing efforts to bring essential government services closer to the people, PSA-PSO DavNor offered a suite of services during the activity, including:

• Step 2 Registration for the National ID (PhilSys);
• Issuance of the paper-based National ID (ePhilID);
• Assistance in accessing the digital version of the National ID;
• Processing of replacement National ID for damaged or peeled-off photo;
• Assistance with requests for PSA-issued birth and marriage certificates for first-time job seekers.

These services were provided under the agency’s One-Stop Shop setup, supporting DOLE’s goal of empowering job seekers through streamlined access to vital documents and registrations.

This initiative underscores PSA Davao del Norte’s commitment to accessibility, community engagement, and inter-agency collaboration in delivering public service. By actively supporting job seekers and promoting awareness of its core programs, PSA-PSO DavNor continues to play a vital role in advancing inclusive and responsive governance.
