The Provincial Government of Davao Oriental handed over a Plaque of Appreciation to Philippine Statistics Authority - Davao Oriental Provincial Statistical Office, along with other national line agencies, provincial departments, private sectors and also its personnel who have greatly helped in the realization and success of the Nagkakaisang Lingkod-Bayan ng Davao Oriental - Barangay Outreach Caravan (NLD-BOC) during the Fellowship and Awarding Program last July 22, 2017 at Honey's Hotel, City of Mati.

The NLD-BOC is a flagship program of Governor Nelson L. Dayanghirang which aims to bring public service closer to the people especially those who are living in a geographically isolated and disadvantaged areas. After 8 months of implementation, the NLD-BOC has reached out to about 50,000 individuals in various locations in the municipalities of Manay, Lupon, Banaybanay, Boston, Cateel and City of Mati.
