City of Mati, Davao Oriental- The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Davao Oriental has officially resumed the National ID registration in the province, aiming to provide residents with a valid proof of identity that will streamline public and private transactions. The resumption comes as part of the government's ongoing efforts to ensure every Filipino has access to a secure and reliable identification system.
Residents across the province can now visit the designated registration centers to complete their National Identification System registration, especially the children 0 to 4 years old who are not yet registered to the National ID. The PSA has assured the public that safety protocols and enhanced measures are in place to accommodate registrants efficiently and ensure adherence to Data Privacy.
The registration process is conducted in the designated National ID registration centers in every municipality, and other areas during mobile registration in the barangay. Registrants are also encouraged to bring their valid IDs and other supporting documents such as the original copy of their birth certificate to be used during their registration.
Residents of the province can also avail of other National ID services such as the issuance of the National ID in paper form, assistance in the generation of the digital National ID, and updating of the error entries of the demographic entries of the National ID at the provincial office.
Residents are encouraged to bring their children and unregistered family members to the nearest National ID Registration Center.
