The Philippine Statistics Authority – Davao de Oro Provincial Statistical Office announces the conduct of the Provincial Data Dissemination Forum on 2021 Official Poverty Statistics and 2020 Census on Population and Housing (CPH) Available Variables on 28 October 2022 (Friday), 9:00 a.m. at Comval Hotel, Poblacion, Nabunturan.

The activity aims to present the 2021 incidence of poverty and other poverty statistics and the 2020 urban population and age and sex distribution results in the province. Likewise, the forum serves as an avenue of discussion on understanding poverty statistics and the 2020 CPH available variables, which could be used as a reference to arrive a better economic planning, decision and policymaking, developmental research, and others.

The forum will be spearheaded by the Officer-in-Charge (OIC) of the office, Supervising Statistical Specialist (SSS) Nova P. Vicente who will also be one of the resource speakers for the event. Together with OIC, SSS Vicente will be Statistical Specialist II Glofel F. Peregrino and the guest reactors will be OIC Provincial Planning and Development Coordinator Alicia M. Graciadas, EnP. of the Provincial Planning and Development Office and Social and Welfare and Development Officer Karen Kate Nuñez of the Department of Social Welfare and Development of the province.
