The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Davao Occidental Provincial Statistical Office attended the First On-the-Job Training (OJT) culmination activity spearheaded by the Institute of Human Service - Public Administration Program led by OIC-Dean Julie Ann U. Deseo, RSW, MPA at the Southern Philippines Agri-Business and Marine and Aquatic School of Technology (SPAMAST) New Training Center on 25 April 2023.

On behalf of Chief Statistical Specialist Jessie A. Madulin, Administrative Officer I Charmaine R. Sabanal joined the activity as a representative supervisor of PSA Davao Occidental on-the-job trainee Ms. Desiree P. Tampipi, who is a Bachelor of Public Administration (BPA) student of SPAMAST. 

The program was facilitated by the students taking up BPA at SPAMAST as they presented their completed outputs and accomplishments as OJTs. In addition, this activity served as an avenue for them to acknowledge and recognize their OJT supervisors for giving them knowledge and opportunity for work experience as they surpass their internship phase.

This culmination activity was also attended by all the OJT supervisors and representatives from different offices like the Local Government Units (LGUS), National Government Agencies (NGAs), private companies and SPAMAST BPA faculty.

With the activity’s theme, “Celebrating Growth and Achievement Honoring the Journey, Embracing the Future”, as the students of BPA already survived their OJT, this will be their stepping stone to more challenging yet meaningful experiences in the future.
