14 September 2022 – NABUNTURAN. The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Davao de Oro joined the nation in celebrating the 9th founding anniversary of PSA last 12 September 2022 with the theme, “Improving Implementation Strategies through Digital Transformation”.

The celebration started with a thanksgiving mass in the morning which was officiated by Rev. Fr. Anthony Figuera of St. Therese Parish Cathedral and was attended by the PSA Davao de Oro personnel together with its hired contract of service workers (COSWs) from different projects. It was then followed by a feast during lunch where the attendees were able to have a fellowship with one another, remembering the years of working together as one PSA family.

In the afternoon, a Battle of the Brains activity was held to test the knowledge and expertise of the Statistical Researchers (SRs), Head CBMS Area Supervisors (HCAS), PhilSys Personnel, and other COSWs who participated the event. The quiz bee was facilitated by the personnel from the SOCS Team with Registration Officer I (RO I) Issa Lex G. Tomada as the quiz master. Winners for the quiz bee were given certificates and special awards together with the other participants.

Series of activities are set to be conducted for the rest of the month in celebration of the PSA 9th Anniversary.
