10 November 2022 – PSA, Malita, Davao Occidental. The Davao Occidental Provincial Statistical Office, under the leadership of Chief Statistical Specialist (CSS) Jessie A. Madulin and the support of all PSA personnel, conducts the blessing and inauguration of its new office building. The world-class building and workplace are now located on National Highway, Poblacion, Malita, Davao Occidental.

Reverend Fr. Saturnino O. Andoy graced the Mass and the blessing of the building and all PSA personnel. Present and in full support are the heads of two divisions of Regional Statistical Services Office XI, Chief Administrative Officer Imelda A. Agustin of Civil Registration and Administrative Support Division and Statistical Operations and Coordination Division Officer-in-Charge, Ma. Leah C. Magracia accompanied by Statistical Specialist II Marina P. Araneta together with the provincial heads of Davao del Sur CSS Abraham Enrico E. Gulay, Jr., Davao del Norte CSS Pepito D. Amoyen, Davao de Oro OIC-CSS Nova P. Vicente, and Davao Oriental CSS Rogelio T. Lebria. Representatives of some LGU offices and the office of the Provincial Planning and Development Office attend and witnessed the blessing and inauguration.

The initiative of transferring and relocating to a new building was inspired and pursuant to PSA’s vision of becoming world-class in both its space and services. This is to give clients a better-quality service and the best experience while transacting in the office. Also, for its workers to be more inspired in working and to give them a good environment that will motivate them to consistently provide quality service, just like how the office space appears to be.
