The Community-Based Monitoring System (CBMS) Coordinating Board of the City of Panabo officially convened its 1st CBMS Board Meeting on 01 April 2024 at the City of Panabo, Davao del Norte.

Chief Statistical Specialist Pepito D. Amoyen presented and discussed the agenda of the meeting. He highlighted the 142 Data Items in Household Profile Questionnaire, and the 171 data items of the Household Questionnaire. He added that CBMS promotes transparency and accountability in local governance by providing a basis for monitoring and evaluation, track the implementation of projects, measure outcomes, and report progress to the public, fostering trust and confidence institutions.

Wrapping up the meeting with CCB Board Members and PSA Staffs

He added that the LGU can identify priority areas and target interventions more effectively and precisely. By understanding the unique challenges and vulnerabilities of different communities, LGU can design programs that address root causes and maximize impact, leading to more efficient use of resources and better outcomes for residents.
