Based on the records of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), as of 31 October 2023, there are 23.91 million Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) beneficiaries without a PhilSys Card Number. In response, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) commits to register 4Ps beneficiaries including their dependent children aged one year old and over from February to March 2024 during the Family Development Sessions and Community Assemblies.

In line with this, DSWD Field Offices implemented incentivization for the PhilSys registration and authentication of 4Ps beneficiaries, aiming to saturate the number of remaining unregistered individuals. As a result, the Provincial Statistical Offices of PSA Region XI conducted PhilSys registration for unregistered beneficiaries and authentication for those already registered during this activity.

As of 11 March 2024, 6,899 beneficiaries and their dependents were registered to PhilSys in Region XI. Furthermore, 23,186 identities were verified using basic online authentication devices. By engaging in this activity, 4Ps beneficiaries will benefit from a more efficient, targeted, and equitable delivery of social protection programs and services.
